About Go Solar
GO SOLAR is a full service solar energy systems designer and installer. Gary Minnick, president of GO SOLAR, has been designing and installing a wide variety of solar electric and solar thermal systems since 1974. We have a reputation for quality work at a competitive price.
Our old office, pictured to the right, was disconnected from the LIPA grid in 1993 and has provided our personnel and countless visitors with knowledge, inspiration and a good "feel" for solar energy's capabilities and limitations. We have made our facilities available to school classes and other groups as a field trip experience. GO SOLAR will always find the time and put in the effort to turn sceptics into believers.
Our current headquarters has a fully integrated standing seam PV roofing system by UniSolar supplying all of our office power.
